You hide your age well. I didn’t realize Hash was that old.

It was Great Grandmother Hash, started in the Rhine Valley.

How did you get your name?

Karl-Heinz?

Oh… my father and mother wanted us - my brother and me to have a double name so he named me Karl-Heinz.

We had a weekend run in Batam. On Saturday afternoon I borrowed a bike from the hotel and I was biking around the island. I came through a small Kampong and my attention was distracted, I think it was a good looking young woman sitting at one of the kampong house doors. I looked at her and I didn’t see a hole or bump or whatever on the road. The final outcome was a nice “getting down” from the bike the wrong way - actually via the steering wheel. The moment I hit the ground I knew it – I broke something. Since that young woman was still looking at me I saw stars - no I think I saw ‘Moses naked’ - and was waiting for the final judgement, like they have for ice skating. I was imagining her (the young woman at the door) pulling out a number – let’s say 6 (the highest possible). But she didn’t. She went into her house and I could finally see a grin on her face. Next evening I was walking around with a plastic around my right arm. So you know now why the hash name is Armless. For the down down the next Friday I needed help and for 2 weeks when ever I needed to go for a piss. Thank you to Indecent Exposure and Sibyl.

What, Sibyl helped you have a piss? I’ve been warned about the dangers of going over to Batam for a ride.

Do you have a memorable moment?

On my 2nd hash day I met Rob and his friend Tommy (Irish) at the hash. And they tried to be friendly and talked to me. Since I could not understand them (I am sure both their own mothers can’t) but not admitting that I can’t too.  I smiled at them whenever they said some thing.  That was a big mistake because they didn’t stop talking to me during the whole run – for weeks!!!!

Free drinks and food!

What do you dislike?

Drinks and food you have to pay for!

Actually I like that you meet so many different people from different cultures speaking different languages. And they all understand each other (more or less). The hash should be sponsored by the United Nations.

Apart from the Irish, Scots, Kiwis, Germans, Jack Off when she’s had 2 drinks and Vibrator at anytime, I can understand everyone at the Hash too.

February 1877 Friday night at green lantern. Good food, good singing - German drinking songs. Eric “Aye Aye” singing for the first time his sister Belinda song. Over the years she pissed so often out of her window, by now she must have problem with her prostrate.

Yes there was another on on, I think it was Phoney Dick - he started singing  “we will rock you”! Later that night after lots of beer the word changed to a 4 letter word…never mind!

Some runs tend to be very long!

Just run and have fun at the hash – you never know when it will

be your final run due to injuries!
