Ahhhh, ok, so you are trying to distract me from my interviewing huh? Where was your first run?  It was in 1989 with the Harriets in Dover Rd., it was at the car park but there is a buiding on it now. I joined Lion City 2 years later. (pause)

So that would be ’91?  Yes, 91, on way up to the British club, there was a little dead end street we use to park at. It took me 3 years to find the Hash you know.

Wow, 3 years, and I thought Shoe Shopper was bad at directions! Well, you are blonde.Giggle giggle. I mean discover the Hash.

Your favourite run site? Oh, that would be Dempsey, yes Dempsey Rd. We can always get a run out of there, in the old days and even now it is a good area.

Most memorable run? Well, it wasn’t actually a run, it was recce, last year at the jurong heavy Vehicle Car Park. Slack Arse, the dog and I got lost until 9 at night. It was dark, we didn’t know where we were and the dog refused to budge.

That’s no way to talk about Slack Arse. What about your least memorable hash moment? At Alexander PSA I got a metal rod stuck in my leg. We managed to pull it out then I went to the Cricket Club and drank brandy for pain relief. Also I broke my finger at the Wednesday Hash and had to go for an operation. I think posh Duck was there.

Posh Duck was at the Hospital? Giggle giggle, no, he was there when I broke it.

.Favourite On On?  I like on site. But I do like when we have a sing song at the Red Lantern. I like going anywhere actually.

So you’re not fussy where you go, anywhere will do. Giggle giggle. No, I mean the old place that was called ‘The Anywhere Pub!’

Oh, I see. How did you get your name Loose Change?  It was at Dempsey Rd, we got back from a really long run and the drinks van wasn’t there yet. In those days there was a vending machine so we went over to get a drink but the coins kept falling through. So I crawled around on the ground picking up all the loose coins so we could get a drink and so I was named.

Who do you admire most on the Hash? (besides me)  Boo. He always says hello, he always has something to say and is chirpy. I have never seen him grumpy, serious yes, but he is good company.

If you weren’t hashing , what would you be doing?  Getting fatter! Giggle giggle. And annoying the crap out of Slack Arse more – giggle giggle

I’m a little worried about your husband, every time I give him a mention he ends up with a red rash under his arse! But lets stop the crap and move on…

On the hash, you should always…….. have a good giggle with the girls, especially Open Wider and Suzee Wong.

Yes, and Stiffy has been having a bit of a giggle with you lately too. How would you improve the Hash? Have more runs away from the west, try and get to other areas. I feel sorry for all those East Coast people having to drive home from Bukit Timah Rd. Can I go now? I have to collect bags for Paul, I’m always collecting stuff for him.

What don’t you like about the Hash? Politics around AGM time. If you have a complaint then put your hand up to volunteer and do something about it. Can I go now?
